Assad has started operation against US forces and it's allies on the euphrates

forces loyal to Assad have basically started an operation to get rid of the US service men by force today. The SDF-US have lost 2 villages so far. The US responded with airstrikes but I have to say this is reckless tactics by the forces loyal to Assad

Well syrian forces crossing the Euphrates is quite a serious escalation.

Hard to imagine Assad doing this without having a guarantee from Turkey that they will not get involved.

The SDF is complaining about the SAA "hurting the fight against ISIS", the SDF is purposefully dragging its feet in defeating ISIS in Deir Ezzor so the U.S. has an excuse to keep troops in the region.
