He takes extremely oversimplifying stances to justify his biases. For a guy who supposedly watched MMA for a long time, he still espouses MMA math. It's a sign of: A) Never actually watching MMA, B) Watching it, but being incapable of absorbing information as he does, or C) Just plainly being full of shit

Half the reason Tom has been getting shit on so hard for all this time is because he started sooking immediately, and didn't even want to try and take the full time to recover. Then all the constant whining and videos since.

Pantoja did none of that. Just said it was Van's destiny to become champ and that he'd be back.

Its still MMA, and nobody can guarantee a fight, but if you knew someone was going to get eye-poked, you could make a significant pick that, over time, would make money (some would lose, but the number is really fucking high favoring the poker).

Obviously, that’s crazy talk, which is why it’s weird the UFC wouldn’t make it officially crazy talk by actually doing stuff to stop this. It almost seems like they go out of their way to make this possible,

Ironically, MMA math works 90% of the time. To realize that though, you have to be the type of fan to have their own opinion and not just blindly go with what the masses say.

I’m so confused reading this thread. Did I miss something Tom did to lose the trust of so many in here? If it was the fight itself then I’m at a loss, this wasn’t an Aljo or even a Weidman situation. This might be the funniest post I’ve ever read on this site. He might not be the best fighter, but Aspinall has definitely directly and indirectly caused a lot of situations that have given me some good opportunities to laugh. I have to give credit where credit is due.
