The left flew too close to the sun on the trans thing. Far leftists are in it 1000% and they miscalculated pretty badly, in thinking the entire country it that pro trans. But while it may be a minor issue, there ARE a lot of people like myself that are really fucking tired of this idea that you're going to rewrite the very concept of gender without any logic or science being involved at all. Just histrionic tantrums and calling everyone that disagrees a bigot. Turns out that wasn't really a needle mover for them, talking down to their base and flat out refusing to read the room.

The left needs to let go of this idea that if you're a Dem or left leaning you have to go all in on tran support, or they're just going to keep losing. They need to get their shit together and realize that they can't lie to poor people about mass immigration being positive for them anymore. We figured out that's bullshit a long time ago.

Honestly I think surgical gender affirming care outside of boob jobs for women who are uneven post pregnancy or post mastectomy is mostly mental illness. This includes hair transplants for male pattern baldness and a wide variety of non-medically necessary surgeries for non trans people. Hormones are a delicate axis and hormone balancing therapy should be based on medical need, not abuse of hgh and sex hormones under the pretense of longevity while coming at the expense of longevity.

Plastic surgery lost its way getting into vanity instead of reconstructing trauma victims.

They're not just pushing hormones on trans people man. The goddamn drug dealers are trying to sell every guy test.

Yeah don't really disagree with any of that. For profit medicine is an abomination. Personally I'm ready for us to follow suit with the UK. Declare officially and legally that men are men, women are women. If you're a man but identify as a woman or vice versa that's fine.


But NOBODY ELSE is required to cater to you. You can't compete against women as a man. Can't enter women's spaces as a man etc. if YOU want to call YOURSELF a woman that's totally cool. I just don't have to play along, and I absolutely will not. Playing along when they were "only asking for acceptance" has lead to the wacky place were in now, where people call me a bigot for saying a cross dressing man is not a woman.

They never at any point had to offer any scientific evidence at all, just everyone is whatever gender or combination of genders they feel like now and if you disagree you're a.bad person. Cool let me off this train then lmao.

Over 90% of his monthly content doesnt involve gaming and or gaming commentary. An when he does do gaming commentary its based on the premise of doing social/political commentary.

Today Asmongold is the largest political commentator on Twitch. On YouTube he is one of the largest political commentator. Doing ~2 million views daily.

These are unrealistic parameters being set on posters.

Where was it said socio-political discussion cannot be had? Rather, that ensuing discussion in the interest of readership should flow downstream from subject, which is Zack and not individual user opinions on civil rights et cetera and when for which we’ve a dedicated sub in WR.

It’s not only a “realistic” parameter but a required one per user terms that threads remain topical, inheriting their topic from OP. Your history of policing members and board policy will one day prove the forfeiture of your account.

Apolitical game content hasnt been his main focus in years. Any and all discussions in this thread will inevitably branch away from him as the subject matter into interpersonal topics between posters. This happens across all social media platforms.

#1 category on Twitch since September of 2018 has been the Just Chatting section. A category Asmongold has existed in since early 2022 and where the platforms other largest content creators primarily reside in.

You're usually correct in that wading into politics is a bad move if you're a particular type of streamer. This guy is a rare beast, where he actually managed to balance it and grow his brand with it. Then again, in the gaming sphere, it's probably safer to lean right, if you're going to get into political commentary. Far bigger audience crossover.
 
He's a to much of a fence sitter. Lately he's been having hard stances on things but I can never tell if he's being serious or not.

I watch him occasionally. He's in the loop of where I get my news from on YT along with many others.
