Anyway, I’m not saying Ben is a complete bum, just that he hasn’t gone through some lineup of different top ranked guys to really assess where he ranks.

He had that bizarre fight with a past prime Lawler where he nearly got bludgeoned to death, then he had an even more bizarre 4 second KO loss to Masvidal, then just got owned by Maia so I see nothing that suggests he could win 9/10 against any UFC WW.

Due to their distinctly different styles and skill sets, there would be a wide range of possibilities for how the fight would play out.

That said, after the 1st fight, I'd be wary to say that Askren would win the majority due to that nasty first KO.

Yeah masvidal landed that lucky fluke flying knee and made casuals think he was elite but Ben will outwork and use his wrestling easily on Jorge, especially with Jorge with no gas tank now.

Ben was shot before he came to the UFC and if I recall correctly had RETIRED before the UFC called him. His hip was shot, he was out of shape, he couldn't train and he moved like a middle aged math teacher.

Ben's double leg takedown attempt in the Mas fight looked like a special needs toddler trying to dive in a pool, except they don't know how to dive so they just kind of lean and fall like a retard.

And his "striking" was the source for some wicked memes.

Everyone was saying Masvidal was in the worst shape he had been in a long time but fail to credit him in that he still got up multiple times before he completely gassed against Colby.

Askren is nowhere near Colby's level and Jorge is a good win for him. This should be common knowledge. Jorge is not a bum no matter how much you guys want to dump on him. He would more than likely beat Ben again and probably score a knockout as well.

I doubt Masvidal wins again in four seconds, but I could see him winning by later knockouts and even decisions. Even against Robbie he got outwrestled and was in desperation mode with a bulldog choke.
