Aleksakhin is a world combat sambo champion. 2 org WW champ in russia or something. It was hard to find stats on him but one site had mentioned it. him being one of the five best WW in Russia.

Even if Sapo fought lower level fighters you dont finish 48 different people and not be a badass.

You said he was a WW champ. That doesn't mean anything. Becoming a champ in some bushleague, 1000th rate Russian organization doesn't mean anything. The 'or something' didn't instill much confidence in his resume, either. A literal soccer mom and a grandmother recently stepped into the cage. That doesn't tell me anything, either.

Sambo is different. It's so close to MMA and translates much more smoothly.

If a guy is world class at Sambo, very good chance he'll be good at MMA.

Oh, and Ishii is not a bad fighter. I would certainly call him "legit," even if not a top 20 guy. He'd give some UFC guys trouble. Not sure I'd pick Gonzaga and Walt Harris over him, for examples.
