As an Aussie I have zero interest in seeing Mark Hunt fight again

I love the guy and his story was like the Cinderella man.

But after the Stipe beat down, being 5'10 and struggling to be 120kg as a full time athlete and the Lesnar fight where he had all of round 2 to punch a purple gassed Lesnar, I think that sadly his best days are behind him.

If he wasn't kod by Werdum I think things may have gone differently, but yeah, no interest in his next fight.

Well he's kind a old for a fighter so yeah his prime is gone but he's still fun to watch bc he has almost no ground game but can take a hell of a shot and hits harder than hell and when that's all combined that crates a recipe for nail biting excitement of wtf is going to happen next.

I am a little bit disappointed as a Hunt fan also, regardless of PEDs, Hunt should have KOd Lesnar in the 2nd round. There are a few fighters, like Stipe or JDS, that Hunt will never be able to beat, I think he still has some good fights in him, but he is not going to be better at this point of his career.

The cool thing about Hunt is he's one of the few guys left with that mystique/aura. He has the ability to beat ANYONE on a given night, and that's not something that can be said about too many guys. Given the Lesnar fight will be thrown out, he's still only one big win away from a title shot.

He could have easily been on juice himself back in his K1 days, I love the way we preach and sympathize with athletes who were in organisations with little to no testing anyway.

Hunt is a legend, a fantastic Kickboxer and a slightly above average MMA fighter.

The thing that put him on the map was the knockout power, pity it didn't translate into the bigger fights.
