As a Poirier fan this is gonna be rough.

Big Dustin fan here. However, Conor is a tough match up. I think it would be awesome to see Dustin take it and set up a trilogy. However, Conor is the rightful favorite. Dustin has been in wars the last few years and chins don't get better with his schedule. Conor is the sharper boxer and probably the heavier hitter. Dustin has to drag this fight out and make this fight dirty. We will see!
 
If Conor is still in his prime he should be able to take care of Porier. I hope Porier mixes it up this time at least.
 
Why does Sherdog feel the need to say they are fans before slandering the fighter. Do you feel that strengthens your weak arguments?

Dustin gets tagged up early in alot of Fights untill he finds his groove, this potentially spells disaster against someone like Coner

it was the same with eddie too many thought hed wrassle conor that he was a bigger version of chad even though there both the same height

Dustin can win this fight if he can get to the third round. That's easier said than done, though.

By far the best striker in the division shouldn't be getting stunned on the feet by Diaz and then barely squeaking by him in the rematch.

Dustin seems to be easily pulled into fire wars and doesn't use one of his deadliest weapons, his Elite level BJJ and grappling.
 
Conor is definitely the more talented striker. I see him winning the first two rounds. Poirier needs to survive and make Conor work hard the first two rounds. Once it hits round three Conor's gas tank will be spent. He'll be a sitting duck.

Conors striking is 100 times better than Nate Diaz, are you kidding me? The only reason Nate won the first fight was because Conor underestimated his chin and gassed out early. He didn't make the same mistake the second time round, it's a tough fight regardless because Nate hardly gets knocked out due to his chin and takes a toll on energy for sure.

Even then, Conor is almost half his size and was dominating him on the feet for most of the fight until he gassed again but he was smarter 2nd time round and focused on winning rounds. Nate's face was a mess after both fights. Not biased one bit, but to compare Nate's striking to Conors is a joke, let's be real here. Nate's game is zombie boxing. Punching bag until he tires out his opponent and then he finally has a bit of success lol
