As a Poirier fan this is gonna be rough.

Poirier is a Louisiana boy and I am too so I have some love for him based on that. I like him and hope he wins. I'm having a hard time seeing it though. Also I don't want Conor stalling the LW division by being inactive if he wins.

I'm Irish and I can't believe how many people are sleeping on Poirier. McGregor is a complete mystery at this point. Given his leisurely schedule.
 
I give Dustin a decent chance if this goes beyond 3 rounds, but if I were to bet on this i would pick Conor in rd 1 or 2.

Or another one, getting stopped by Travis freaking Browne by a kick that Travis threw like 5 times in a row. Reem gassed in that one too.
I don't think he was Ubereem in these. Ubereem would be on some kind of EPO and he wouldn't Gass in 2 rounds.

I like Dustin but the sport is just so much better with Conor winning and bringing back the money era. Sherdog alone is gonna be Infinite times more enjoyable after a Conor win.
 
Dustin can win this he just has to make it a dirty fight and mix in td.
 
I’m pulling for Dustin and thought he might have a decent chance to win, Then I watched the Poirier/Hooker fight the other night. Needs to tighten up his defense. Fook McGoober. War Poirier!!

A rather large problem for nearly all of Conor's foes.. He cracks hard, is incredibly accurate and one of the best finishers of all time.. Dustin knows..

McGregor isn't winning by sub or decision or even later trying round TKO. As long as Dustin can get out the first round (without getting turned into hamburger in the process) we Porier fans can exhale comfortably.

The idea that you think Conor only has 5 minutes of gas, is some serious wishful thinking, and that is me putting it politely.. This is NOT a grappling match with Khabib pushing the pace Non-Stop.. As long as Conor is NOT head hunting like with Nate 1, he can spar with Dustin for multiple rounds.. But I expect him to end this within 2..

McGregor fans though, they'll start getting really fidgety if they fight gets out the 2nd round.

Conor can easily KO Dustin in the 3rd if he's been badly damaged. But rounds 4 and 5 the edge would go to Dustin. But don't forget Conor gutted it out with Nate in 4 and 5.. Won round 4, and lost a close 5th..

DP doesn't have the attributes to gas out Conor. Doesn't have the zombie chin to absorb Conor's best shots or the grappling to wear him out.
