I felt really thorn when they fought and often wonder who I would root for in a rematch.

I guess the perfect scenario would be for Aldo to beat McGregor and become champion again and than for McGregor to beat whoever is the 155 champion at the time and become the champion at the weight class. Then, two of my favorite fighters would be champions and I would no longer feel bad.

Of course, if Aldo beats McGregor in a rematch it will undoubtedly set up a trilogy.

Aldo will whoop Frankie's ass again come July 9th is all that I know.

Also it works as shown below buddeh.
Conor>Aldo>Edgar.

Conor is just Aldo's superior, ala Jones to DC.

I'm not seeing it for Frankie either i'm afraid. He's a skilled guy but part of me thinks he's had his day
I can't really ever get behind the guy ever since he threw a tantrum like a teenage girl and threw his hat on the ground and all that against Benson.
Aldo is also just stylistically a horrible matchup for Frankie.

Consider yourself lucky

I love Mir and Arlovski and I got this

Personally, I don't think Aldo & Conor are likely to fight again anytime soon, if ever.

Frankie 'Perpetually Underrated' Edgar will continue on the Conor's Leftovers tour, and mop up what's left of Aldo the way he just did to Mendes.

Aldo had his day, but I think he will be downsliding now, while Frankie still has some uprising in him.

It's a pretty good thing your definition of an asswhooping is far removed from reality. Aldo/Edgar 1 was anything but an asswhooping. You need to watch that fight for the very first time in your life and then get back to us. There are people who actually thought Edgar won that fight.

By the way, Edgar is gonna beat washed up Aldo this time and I'll relish in your tears afterward. Edgar will be waiting for Conor in the dark like the fucking boogeyman. Conor will likely never go back to 145 after UFC 200 knowing his Achilles Heel is gonna be waiting for him.

I know what you mean man... I'm the same way with Nate & Mac. Which is really difficult for me to negotiate on this forum because I'm cocked & loaded for both of em!

It's actually kind of a unique experience watching... because I'm completely neutral. So many timez I go into a fight with a preferred winner in my head, but when those 2 fought... it waz just pure indifference because I'm such a fan of both of them.

I like Aldo too, but I waz full on team Mac when they fought. New Gorilla takin' over n stuff.

That fight was the drizzling shits. Mir is generally in exciting fights, rarely going to decision, but that one and the Cro Cop fight were just total turds. I think that Cro Cop/Mir PPV was the most buyer's remorse I've ever had with a UFC card. Cro Cop's transition from the steely-eyed killer of the iconic Wand/Cro Cop staredown days to the lovable, huggable, glass-chinned teddy bear of the Mir fight was very disheartening for an unabashed Cro Cop nuthugger like myself.

Ever since Gonzaga headkicked him, Crocop just grew increasingly gunshy. So Mir/Crocop was just a primarily BJJ guy trying to stand with a striker past his prime that he couldn't take down. So that's what you got lol

Is that based the one exchange they've ever had? There wasn't nearly enough time in that fight to gauge much of anything. Jones and DC at least fought for 25 minutes, so it's easier to say they both had plenty of opportunity to do anything they were going to do.

Frankie's pretty consistent, so I think this fight will depend a lot on Aldo and whether the McGregor fight has restored his determination and focus or shattered his confidence.

And those people are clueless. It was an obvious win for Aldo.
Yeah I think so too, BUT it was not an asswhooping either as that moron kept saying it was. Clearly he's never seen the fight. Edgar was in control of that fight in the last couple of rounds. Aldo fades and after all his injuries over the last 6 years, he isn't getting any better. Edgar is gonna roast his ass this time. Two fighters in two totally different places since they last fought 3 1/2 years ago.
