Article about Elias making more modeling than in the ring

I believe it, and I'm glad he does. He's always seemed to be such a likable guy it's hard not to root for him.

Being around the 20-25th ranked fighter in the world in his weight class and being called a "terrible fighter" is hilariously depressing.

Edit: He is the #26th ranked MW in the world right now, with his highest ranking up at #23 after beating Cezar Ferreira. Totally terrible. http://www.fightmatrix.com/fighter-profile/Elias+Theodorou/83923/

I had some hopes for Elias. He seemed to have a good fight IQ and some endless cardio - two qualities that most fighters woefully lack.

However, lately, I wouldn't say he plateaued, but instead contentedly stagnated. Fighting smart is one thing, but realistically, the most dependable way to win and take the least amount of damage is to finish your opponent. That being said, Elias seems more than happy to coast decisions into mediocrity instead of taking the risks to break into the next echelon.
