Media Artem Lobov Successor is debuting this week in the UFC

8 finishes in 9 fights is nothing to be scoffed at.

I’m eager to see how he performs this weekend.

Not for HW.
I meant that he had an average reach relative to his height. Obviously he was short for a heavyweight but his arms were not abnormally short for his body. This guy's arms are very short relative to his height though.

Rocky Marciano is a better example than Tyson because his reach was unusually short relative to his height.

Yeah, but in striking it's more about relative to your opponent than relative to your own body, which is what the guy I quoted was talking about, striking combat sports. It so happens that chances are higher that when you have arms short relative to your body that they are also short relative to most opponents, unless you are significantly taller than most of your opponents.

>5'10" height
>67" reach

No.

AJ flatchu is explosive, with much more athletic ability than Artem Lowblovv. I will be watching how he does.

That looks so photoshopped.

Ask Mike T\yson.
Tyson didnt have arms like Artem. Also unlike Artem, his incredible speed allowed him to close in on big guys

Already went over that, bud.

Nah, it helpa but it really doesn't make up for it enough to the point of his success. It's his mindset & focus, motivation and his training & technique. Look at Hardy he has great athleticism and power but it's not enough to make up for all the things he is lacking.

But that's all besides the point, the poster asked why even go into a striking sport with super short reach. Tyson didn't go into boxing just because he was really athletic.
