This was a funny interview in hindsight. But what I don´t understand where does all this Dricus confidence comes from?
Dude was completely out of his mind offering 10k to fuking Khamzat Chimaev for a single takedown?

Guys like DDP, I think they genuinely believe they THINK they know what fighting Zat would be like... and then the reality check kicks in.This was a funny interview in hindsight. But what I don´t understand where does all this Dricus confidence comes from?

Dricus is a very strong guy and he truly believes in himself.
He said in an interview that this was like a Gun vs Tank and that there is no MW who is ever gonna over power him. DDP truly believed he was too strong for Khamzat and that he would shout him down.
It seems clear that they underestimated Khamzat and thought he would gas after a round or two of grappling.I’m still curious as to what DDPs game plan was going into that fight.
A stupid underestimation. Quite literally a very casual estimation. You'd think they weren't professionals. It seems clear that they underestimated Khamzat and thought he would gas after a round or two of grappling.
They also seemed to believe they could grapple and wrestle with him due to size and strength advantage.
Very poor effort by team Dricus.
I’m still curious as to what DDPs game plan was going into that fight.

Lol cope.and i have an hard time trying to understand what was Chimaev's strategy before the fight since it was so smooth for him to get the fight where he wanted.
"take him down and if he cannot escape let the clock runs"?
