Hooker was able to beat Gamrot because Gamrot is just too one dimensional. You’re not factoring in how the triple threat of athleticism, good striking & excellent grappling neutralizes pure strikers. Dan Hooker not gonna stand there and lob punches against Arman like he does with guys like Jalin Turner & Poirier. Against elite triple threat fighters like Islam, Arman, and Oliveira, guys like Dan Hooker are chopped liver.
