I think Paddy's performance against a washed up Chandler & the unreal expectation of Paddy being something he isn't is overriding his grit against Gaethje. Ppl were expecting an unrealistic performance due to him beating up cans & washed up fighters, & is clouding what normally would be praised for. Paddy was landing some shots & stood & banged with one of the toughest mfers in the UFC & didn't get finished. Paddy ate many shots that would've dropped many.
