When ever you guys lift heavy with your arms, do you ever get kinda pain in your forearms like shin splints?

It goes away and isnt in the joint. and yes i read urbans questionaire...

just checking if anyone ever got it.

on a funnier note, i saw a huge guy have a go at some emo kids in my gym cos the were sitting on machines they werent using and talking. at one point one of them went to the water fountain, wet his hands and styled his hair. i had to struggle to stop myself laughing.

Funny you ask this man, I'm having the same pain in my forearms.

yeah i get them too... about 1/3rd to 1/2 down my forearm from my elbow, i get them from heavy curls mainly

Could it be sore forearm muscles? Maybe a sore tendon? Is it similar to how your biceps feel after working them hard? I've had something in my forearm, I wouldn't call it pain like shin splints but more of a muscle soreness.

It's like a lingering soreness. Going on 2 weeks for me.

a little bit of both

yeah i got em. They went away when i stopped the gym for medical reasons.. but i feel them again now when im mixing cement and carrying the mixer and such. It feels pretty much like a boney ache, not at all like sore muscles.

I did my back and bi's workout today and it seems only in the top portion of the lift that i really notice the pain, i usually do standing EZ bar curls at the end of my back routine. Never really noticed it with DB's, it may be the angle of my hands with the EZ bar.

sounds about right with it being in the bone not muscle

Yeh its right at the top. and sometimes get it for a few seconds when i put the bar down at the end of the set.
