Andy Arloviski appeared to have the physical tools to potentially be the heavyweight goat. Is the fact that he does not have a world class chin the thing that held him back?

Because he's inconsistent and has bad striking defense

His defense is bad, his chin is glass and hes always been a one handed fighter. Pretty much all of his offense is off his right hand, predictable. Not a strong wrestling game or clinch, decent submission game tho.

I think so. So many potential GOATS fall short because of one little thing. Like Ronda Rousey for example. If she had Holm's boxing she'd be female MMA GOATest GOAT who's ever GOATed.

I think his biggest problem is his mental game, he seems to fold quite easily and you can see the self-doubt appear in a few of his fights. The overeem fight was a good example of this, he had success intially but the moment he felt Overeem's power he seemed to give in and completely stopped attacking.

His chin. And to a lesser extant his defense.

If Arlovski could take a punch like Mark Hunt he'd be one of the greatest ever.

Part chin part terrible striking defense. He's a glass cannon

Andy Arloviski unfortunately has porcelain chin.

Tim Sylvia banged his girl and it went down hill from there :( He will always be one of my fav fights though, he looked amazing in the Fedor fight until he got his head taken off
