Seems like a pointless rematch and I have to wonder why Arlovski agreed to it. Extremely high risk for basically no reward.
 
will be closer than most think, imo

still picking him tho, will most likely be a pretty uneventful fight

I think they've both wanted it for a long time. It's a rematch of a truly epic encounter from about ten years ago. Sadly, I don't think this will measure up to it at all. I hope I'm wrong.

If this had happened 5 years ago I'd be all for it, but Arlovski doesn't engage like he used to. It's not gonna be that thrilling super fight that was ten years ago between these two.
 
Im rooting for Rothwell only because Arlovski is so boring these days. Rothwell should pressure him so fight wont be boring, Andrei is slower, Big Ben have iron chin and can easily knock Arlovski out in first round.
 
AA KOs Ben in the first and Rothwell is awarded a 29-28 split decision.

Even when Andrei is 3 years older, he's always been a faster heavyweight. Definitely faster than Ben Rothwell ever was.
 
I like both fighters
Andre was always one of my favourites, so I'm rooting for him, but Big Ben is probably gonna win

I mean he is not as fast like he used to be. He is still faster than Rothwell like you said, but the difference is not as big like in first affliction fight. Arlovski imo cant handle with Rothwell anymore.

I don't really see Arlovski winning this either, even though I'd like him to.
 
A guy who has lost his last 2 vs a guy who has lost is last 4, only won 2 out of his last 11 and consistently puts on completely boring fights. No doubt UFC will put this high on the main card because they're HWs.

The HW division and the way they give them such high spots on cards ruins it for me. They're nonathletic, mostly unskilled snooze-fests. HW is to me what WMMA is to WMMA haters now. Think I'll try the whole 'take a shit and get some food' break.
