Ariel Moving to the Action Network

So from ESPN to:

"The Action Network is the market leader and most trusted source for sports fans, enhancing their betting and entertainment experience through original news, premium insights, betting tools, data and odds.

The company was founded in October 2017, after The Chernin Group (TCG) acquired three well-known businesses in the sports betting and daily fantasy world and combined them into one entity under the Action umbrella"

Ariel :"This was 100% my decision."

Dude got fired...
Pretty sure ESPN put out a statement they wanted to keep him and made him an offer to stay

Sounds like some startup company overpaying, that's why he was so confident asking for more from ESPN.
If it works out for him, great. If it doesn't he'll make more for a few years but lose his public profile.

To be fair if he still has good fighter interviews I'll probably follow whatever youtube channel he's got them on.

There are more threads here on ariel than there are of most fighters. So he does carry some weight, I wonder who will take his place at espn

Someone fill me in on what happened i don’t follow

A few months ago there were murmurings that he wasn't happy with his salary. He was doing like 3 shows for ESPN, but wasn't getting paid well (by ESPN/Disney standards). Word was ESPN didn't want to give him a bump.

Looks like some new gambling outfit sees him as a sepping stone to legitimacy and will pay him what he wants to get it.

Seems like a step down , I honestly have no idea what the action network is . Hopefully he ends up on the cover of career suicide monthly and we never see him again

It's weird that he's joining a betting site as an "expert" of MMA. When has Ariel ever done fight analysis? In all the years I've watched him he has always seemed more concerned with the drama behind fighting than the actual fights themselves. He's the last person I'd look to for MMA betting tips.

This guy is irritating in ways Helwani could only dream of. Could just be me...
Not just you,

This guy makes Jon Anik look as interesting as a professional stunt, pole dancer in comparison.

Trying say hes very fucking bland..

His contract was coming to an end.

When I have time to dedicate, I will do some serious research into stunt pole dancing.....

does this mean we no longer get the ariel and DC weekly shows? That was the best show ariel had ever done.
