Remember watching Helwani interview Page years ago with Arianny Celeste. He was such a great journalist willing to go through Page's antics, knowing that he'd have to go through with these antics to feed his thirst of reporting news. Sad to see that this was not the only person that bullied Helwani, his own employers at fox and now Zuffa body guards roughing him up come to light. He put up with this for years, yet he pushed on and gave us the fans what we wanted. Unfiltered MMA News. Thank you Ariel Helwani for the best MMA journalism and I hope he continues on with MMA reporting.

As many flaws as Ariel has, and as irritating as he can be, I'm with him on this one. He creates excitement, he has the best interviews, he knows the right people, he has the right connections and he break the best stories.

He is good for the sport, and good for the fans. Also, I'd argue he is good for the UFC, they just don't like not being in control.

1st discovered Ariel back in 2010. He brought me closer to the sport with his in depth figher interviews and breaking news. I always felt like he brought more legitimacy to the sport with his professional demeanor and attire. Seemed like he was the only one who actaully studied journalism. He wasnt jus some fan in a tap out shirt with a camera and a mic covering MMA which was prevalent back then
