When I watched mma shows, it was Ariels. I thought he put out the best content that wasn't cringe MMA for me. That said, I hate the ass licking people he gets from people for playing this persona that is in a bubble of "righteousness". It's too much to see him instigate, then play victim, act like he has the morality above everyone, mention some buzzwords about fighters pay or against UFC to rally the sheep on his side, then act like the person he's beefing with is insane and he didn't instigate anything. The script is tired for me. I liked him when he was just a regular news guy who pressed the fighters a little bit and then stuck to reporting.

..but I am definitely not making this only about the UFC but rather how he is also involved in drama that has nothing to do with the organization. This guy is constantly instigating narratives, I get it, he needs to sell but don't fall for his white knight schtick as he needs these things to thrive.

for me it's the part where he withheld this information until now for his own convienence. as a reporter, he should've said this as soon as he confirmed this. also the part where he pats himself on the back all the time and tries to play martyr, that's bullshit.

The real question here is this: would Dana cancel a major fight if it were leaked to Ariel? As in Islam-Charles 2 or something like that. A title fight in other words.

Ariel only brought this up now to protect his credibility when Islam vs Charles 2 doesn't happen. Lmao at the defence of "I only brought it up now cause I recently found the willingness" by Ariel.
 
What’s with people siding with the massive corporation over the small time guy, despite the fact Ariel has proof and we all know how UFC operates? I’m beginning to believe that guys post that UFC has paid plants here. It doesn’t make sense. Like we’re all here just to pass the time with like minded fans, what’s the genesis of this UFC caulk sucking??

yeah i never trust fully what he says because there's always something he's getting out of it. he's not reporting to report, he's using his position as a reporter to try and influence the listeners with his own narrative for his own benefits and THAT is the scummy part to me about him.

i'm not personally siding with anyone. i think they're both scumbags who always have their ulterior motives when they allow news to get out.
 
Ariel may be this or that but the UFC and Dana White are still absolute slimeballs that do slimeball shit all the times to fighters. Dana is godlike but he’s petty and been throwing bitch tantrums his entire UFC tenure.

It's all so fucking stupid, man. Ariel had no problem shilling for ufc when he was on fox and espn. I still remember him defending the judges for the atrocious jones vs reyes scorecard.
But one anti UFC episode and he rallies the sheep.
I agree with you. Both sides are annoying. Ufc with its bs tactics (imagine offering a short notice fight to a champ, like they did with strickland) and Ariel with his me me me behavior. Fuck both of them tbh.
