International Argentina economy to skyrocket, first budget surplus in decades

Good luck to them, Argentina seems to have always been in the shit for years so they need something to go right. Great food as well

love my argentine grill! i'm doing my part to help!

Did you log into the wrong account?

Nope i just find it funny that people call "Milei" someone against "globalism" when he has done so much to actually try to reverse the hypernationalist, populist policies of Peronism.

Has Argentina reversed their course and begun to prosper in some sense? Can western countries which have recently adopted an agenda set by "globalists" turn things around through drastic corrections in a similar sense to Argentina? Participating in "free trade" as globalism is a lot different than encouraging endless third world illegal emigration and the destruction of traditional Western values globalism...

You can't analyze everything through your Western, white nationalist lenses, though. In the WN world, "globalist" = immigration of brown and black people = destruction of society.

But that just doesn't apply to a Latin American country. There's no obsession with keeping the ethnics away and "keeping the culture pure", even amongst the right wing in that region.

If you look at Milei's campaign promises, they were based almost entirely on economic issues and with monetary policy, the size of the state, privatization, etc. Little to no mention of expelling the darkies, which is you guys' #1 concern.

Why is everyone else allowed to talk about that but not @evergreenrider?

I don’t know much about it but if Trump was advocating it that’s a red flag .

This was from a 2022 article but the author blames liberals for not cracking down on it ?

( China already banned cryptocurrencies entirely, and India and Pakistan are poised to do the same. Other countries have also made moves to prohibit or constrain cryptocurrencies, but Western liberal democracies are notably permissive. This is in no small part due to aggressive industry lobbying, which includes hiring former financial regulators and compliance officers into the industry to influence policymakers ) .
