Well, I believe it has to do with the fact the 40+ dudes are usually pretty established where they are going in life and are past the FAFO stage. They've settled down, job and home is already figured out, and they've nailed their routine. I am not saying that the women are gold-diggers, just that they are usually looking for something more than the DEI male barista at Starbucks as a prospective partner.

Women aren't going to like hearing it, but guys tend to age better than women too.

When I start to like a certain celebrity it usually gets ruined by something stupid said, politics they feel they have to thrust on fans or something else that ends up making me realize it's stupid to praise celebrities.

At my age and time in life (about to be empty nesters) my crush is having free time with a wife that is in tune with my interests and vice versa. Learned from mistakes with my first marraige lol

Last "crush" or "infatuation" I had was in the year 2000.

I was not built to be single. I believe I met 4 women I could have happily married by the age of 21, and the only reason it is not more is because I never had any prolonged single stretches in between.

If you are married and you are still looking.... fix your fucking marriage.

I do believe pretty strongly that we are hardwired for certain things at specific times in our life.

For example: language learning. It will be a breeze in childhood and likely be a shit ton of WORK the later in life we try.


From teenage years as we hit sexual maturity until ... hard to say due to how my experiences played out... but I am going to guess, early to mid 20s.... we are well suited to find a mate and achieve a strong long term bond. Hopefully minimal damage and baggage and still sufficient hope, libido and ambition, the proper recipe.

Miss that window and be prepared to sift thru a pile of run thru hoes.
