If they brought back fight pass in Canada, I’d get it again. I’d pay more to get PPV’s too. I miss fight pass

I got suckered into the first two months but cancelling after

I don't even watch most free UFCs. It's like Tuesday NCAA football games anymore; 1-9 team vs 2-8 team.

My wife had me sign up a year ago so she could watch Yellowstone and its spinoffs.

Landman and Tulsa King are pretty good. Having UFC means I’ll keep it for a few years although it’s definitely going up in price before long.

Watch Mayor of Kingstown and Lioness too...

I cycle it on and off through my Prime membership.

They have some very good deals going on now.

I'm still thinking about, I'll probably make a decision shortly.

How about you folks?

This is the Canadian plan.

It's cheap, why not? With PPV's included it's a no brainer. Also, I've apparently been subscribed and didn't know it. 😂

Ill have to see how the fights look. So far there is nothing that interests me enough to subscribe. I have not been watching many events live lately, between the fight fixing, weak fight cards, and best fighters not fighting the best fighters my interest has been dwindling.

well this fucking sucks! guess I am cancelling in one month might as well get my $5 worth

The new UFC deal with Paramount, beginning in 2026, is
primarily for the U.S. market and will not change the current viewing situation for Canadians, who will continue to watch via Sportsnet.

Here's the current breakdown for UFC in Canada:

  • Broadcaster: Sportsnet holds the exclusive broadcast rights for all UFC events in Canada, a deal that began in 2024.
  • Pay-Per-View (PPV): Numbered events (e.g., UFC 300 series) will remain PPVs in Canada, available for purchase through Sportsnet or the UFC Fight Pass app.
  • Fight Nights: Less-important events, known as "Fight Nights," are available on the linear Sportsnet television network or the Sportsnet+ streaming service.
  • Paramount+ in Canada: While Canadians can subscribe to the Canadian version of Paramount+, the UFC content is not included in the Canadian library and the new U.S. deal does not extend these rights to Canadian subscribers.
In short, the shift away from the PPV model to an all-inclusive subscription on Paramount+ is only for U.S. fans, not Canadian fans.

can't have shit around here

already have it and have had it for about a year as its the most watched app my wife views. however, i have been streaming UFCs for free since around 2009ish, and i will continue to stream it without giving them the veiwership on paramount.

Stick it to the man!!!

I'll try it out but they'd better not jack up the price, and it better have good quality.

The PPVs are through Bell and the Fightnights are through Sportsnet, that's the TV deal. So the PPV model in Canada wont change for now. From what I heard.
I see that now. See post #92
