Are You Bored By UFC?

There isn't a lot to look forward to this year. Other than Cormier vs Miocic -- which is a great fight, don't get me wrong -- I really can't think of a fight that I'm really excited about. I thought I just had UFC fatigue at first, but I'm beginning to think it's the product that's the problem. Almost all of my favorite fighters have fallen off... so there's that, too.

There are a few fights that look interesting to me. Khabib/Ferg should be good, Stipe/DC, any fights for Conor, Jones if he is back from suspension.

Definitely haven’t felt that UFC magic like I used to years ago, but I’ll always be watching.

The first 3 weeks of April are some awesome fight cards I can’t wait for... the return of Conor who he gonna fight... TJ vs DJ... Romero vs Whittaker II... the WW division is stacked I’m interested to see how that plays out

But back to the point. I certainly aren't as excited by it as i used to be. Not a fan of wmma but it's still fun to stay up and watch it with a few drinks

Not going to lie, a lot of these WMMA fights do bore me because they struggle so hard to finish one another..

With men, they usually have the power to always have a chance at KOing one another.. very, very few women seem to possess that, and it makes the fights boring and stale because you know most likely it's going all 3 rounds.

I thought UFC 222 was lackluster on paper, so I skipped the live viewing. I watched on Fight Pass a day later and the card had fun fights to watch. So while my excitement may wane when less recognizable names appear on the card the product still delivers and is intact.

Not bored but there are just too many cards and the majority of them are just sub par. I enjoy a card full of no names as much as the ones w the big names as long as they deliver. Actually those cards have delivered more times than not but these days it seems like the matchmakers are not even trying. I feel like if they gave me a crack at it, even I, with no prior experience, would do a better job.

For over a decade I was buying every event and hyped as hell.

The last three years I give less of a fuck every day and have paid for ONE ppv only.

Yeah sure, there aren't many "big name" fights coming up but will still have lots of fun fights

Look at next month for example, we don't just have one but three cards with a lot of fun fights.

UFC 223 with Khabib v Ferg, Rose v JJ etc the following week we have a great card with Poirier v Gaethje, Condit v brown etc then the week after that we have Lee v Barboza with a decent card.
