Are women just not funny? Do they not make good comedians?

Ellen Degenerous has legit great standup specials.

Like others have said Maria Branford, Legero and Sarah Silverman (but her material has worn thin over time imo).

Roseanne and Joan Rivers killed it back in the day.

God I miss Joan Rivers. Maria was just in the area and she absolutely murdered it. My girl Vanessa Dawn in Seattle is incredible, Olivia Grace is amazing. She's in NYC right now and about to go on tour again.

Tons of talented female comics out there. Also I think Chelsea Peretti is just amazing.

I think Joan Rivers was funny, and there’s a few women in my comedy scene who are fairly funny. For the most part though Female comics just don’t do it for me, granted there aren’t that many great male comics anymore either.

I have personally been to a stand up comedy event where there was various comedians doing stand up, lots of different ones doing it in small groups and they were all male, didn't see any female ones. When I have seen it on TV its always been male too. I can't say if female stand up comedians are good because I never even seen one. I'm sure a good ole youtube search might come up with a few though if I look

I know Vanessa, I’m in a comedy competition with her (The Comedy Voice), and I see her around at shows all the time, she’s very funny.

There’s a few women I find funny as a guy myself, but not many stand up comics.

I enjoyed when CNN did a docu-series on the history of comedy and each episode would be a different facet of comedy, such as sitcoms, stand up, talk shows, etc. The funniest episode by far was “Women...the funnier sex.” Yea I skipped that one, nice try.

That's because in order to make fun of Reality, you need to have logic and a sense of initiative. Women are followers (sheep) and hardly possess logic (emotions come first for them), that's why you don't see many women being creative in many genres.

Oh my God tell her "her son from Oklahoma says what's up"

Inside joke about how she always kept me from getting too fucked up at shows lol.

She's actually helping me get booked out your way. Im thinking maybe April.

Good luck in the competition. She brings it.

She does a really good joke here where she says "I'm from Oklahoma, home of the super sonics" and it always gets a solid reaction from the crowd.

If you come near the end of the month I could put you on at a small Brewery show I do in Seattle, it's not much but you could do a long set and I would give you a cut of the donations we get.

women are not as good at men at anything, unless that activity happens to be a traditional female activity according to ye good olde gender stereotypes (although men will probably end up dominating in that as well).

Joan Rivers is a legend, i think she was one of the funniest comedians period, I think Lisa Lampanelli is funny also, but those are exceptions. In general women are not funny and even don't have more than a shallow sense of humor in my experience.

I absolutely love her delivery. Also sounds good. I'll PM you my credits soon and a headshot.

I've headlined about five shows in Oklahoma, roast battle champion, headlined in Fayetteville and headlined in New Orleans as well as opened for Sam Tallent in Denver. Hosted the Fresh Drunk Stoned tour and the Thanks for the Clap Tour as well as opened for Shang and Conor MacSpadden.

Credits are credits bro lol. Headlining or featuring in Seattle even if it's a small gig is still something festivals look at. Hell I did a show in New Orleans and they said they couldn't pay me but my tab would be comped. I drank my weight in Jameson that night lol.
