What do you all say? Are we still in the Conor McGregor ERA of MMA or have we officially entered the interim ERA?

To me, the Conor hype/stock has declined alot since 2015-2016 and also since the Mayweather fight. I'm afraid that after a loss or two on his record he will or can very much likely end up like Ronda/Lesnar/Anderson/Aldo, in other words become a shadow of his former shelf.

There is still an entire sub-forum dedicated to him.

When that closes down it will be the end of the McGregor era on Sherdog.

The McGregor era in MMA ended as soon as he accepted a boxing match he had no chance of winning.

Yes. He's only draw they have thats why they are not stripping him or compelling his return in any way.

Jones gone. Brock Gone. GSP gone. Ronda gone. Rashad gone. etc

He has them by the balls.

I don't think losses will bother him. He was smashed by Gatekeeper diaz only HCs knew. And second fight did even more PPV.

Era usually implies championship reign.

A reign requires defenses.

His run at 145 is pretty legendary, but that's about it, and it's years ago.

It's as much the Mcgregor era as it was the Machida era

lol you dorks will know as soon as his next fight is announced.

We're in the getting ko'ed, choked out and squeaking by Erik Anders level fighters, Machida era<JonesLaugh>
