It varies for every individual. You can feel like you are in hell in your mind from time to time. But fairness is not evenly distributed in this world. Just imagine being in Gaza or born there right now we're people are starving to death. That's truly a living hell.

Life does appear to be about suffering and learning, but I don't think it is a hell because there is good, beauty, pleasure and happiness interspersed.
