Are we going to pretend the WR wasn't full blown neo con?

It's really quite incredible how quickly and drastically Republican identity changes.

Democrats have had, more or less, the same vantage point for years. Republicans, as you outlined, have changed drastically, most obviously from the anti-government, corruption-is-everywhere Tea Party era to immediately afterward the lock-em-up, fake-news, corruption-is-okay, people-investigating-the-government-are-unamerican era.
Gay marriage, tranny's , illegals... Dem's has changed too

Gay marriage, tranny's , illegals... Dem's has changed too

No, not really. Democrats were exponentially more favorable to gay marriage and productive policies on undocumented immigration than Republicans for all of the modern era. Support for gay marriage in the polling of Democrats tipped the .500 mark like two decades ago (right?) but mainstream politicians had to err conservative on the issue to attract undecided voters. And Bill Clinton, to be sure, was markedly more conservative than the average Democrat on most issues, but especially on immigration.

Accommodations for transgendered persons really hasn't been a topic in mainstream discourse until recently. So I guess, to the extent that it's a new position, they have changed on that topic.

So a few things here. Free speech should mean that you don't need the money to hire a lawyer to exercise it. Trump has a history of using lawyers to silence people. I can't imagine why you would defend that.

Well for what reason is he using his lawyers to silence people. Is it because they are spreading lies, threats, or private information? Do you think one should have some legal recourse against that or does free speech include the right to defame people and invade privacy?

Drilling for gas and oil, and mining for coal, does not benefit the US if it is being sold on the global commodities market. I'm pretty sure I have pointed this out to you before.

So a country producing their own resources, of any kind, isn't beneficial to that country....

Wtf viva.

The rest of the stuff is tropes. Republicans don't want to fix any of that shit either, because they are for sale whores, just like the democrats.

Who is talking about republicans and democrats?

If you really want to talk about trump, let's talk about campaign finance. He stood up during the whole election, and said politicians are for sale. He has purchased them before.

Doesn't bother me

If trump is actually interested in fixing this country, and not selling that influence, then shouldn't he be trying to fix that?

Didn't he implement a ban on lobbying? Hasn't he blew the whistle on this whole practice of buying politicians? Do you have any examples of him selling his influence as POTUS?
