Let us be real. The corner misses a lot of things. Sometimes the commentators notice things that the corner does see, and they don't instruct the fighter to capitalize.

For example, Makdesi has definitely damaged Trujillo's leg, wouldn't be more effective, if somebody was watching the fight at home could send a text message to Makdesi's corner so they can instruct Makdesi to continue to attack that leg.

I think sometimes the fighter and his corner don't notice these types of damages.
