Are there any Sherdoggers here who don't like WMMA but was impressed by Rose Namajunas?

I consider myself to be neutral about WMMA: I like some fights (Cyborg, Shevchenko, Nunez, Rousey, Zingano, etc.) but generally I can't get myself to sit through many other fights.

However, I was very impressed by Rose vs. Joanna 2, and every minute of the fight was entertaining to watch. Both of them, especially Rose, showed very beautiful technical striking, footwork, movements, and head movements that were beyond the level of typical MMA standards by both men and women, in my opinion as a long time MMA fan.

Before the second fight happend i said there was nothing to gain for Rose because when you ko someone that quick doesnt matter if you do it again you already did it and faster but i was wrong. Rose was in there with Joanna 5 rounds and doesnt matter who you give the nod to no one can say she didnt belong or it was lucky, she was elite against the woman who dominated every Opponent she faced till Rose, i have a new found respect for her as a fighter, most WMMA are not watchable to me but this is one of the fights that makes it worth it having woman in the UFC.

yeah rose is a beast. One of 3 women who bring it in WMMA. Cyborg Nunes and Rose the only ones I'll tune it to watch

I don't have the answer but I do have a platitude: everything that has ever happened has happened once for the first time ever

I respect anyone who steps foot in that cage, and was hugely impressed with Rose's performance.

Imo of all the possible outcomes of that fight rose winning on points in a stand up fight was the least likely.

There have certainly been some solid trilogies but the only high profile one that comes to mind is Wand-Rampage

But Rose's movement, composure, efficiency, understanding of distance and leverage, all made me believe in a higher ceiling for the women.

The second fight was pretty good. Time for both to move on for now.

She was very impressive. It's amazing how much she has improved in her standup, it was unbelievable. Her fluid in-and-out movements, feints, were beyond MMA level strikings. For a moment, I forgot I was watching an MMA fight lol.

It was just a question for Sherdoggers in general. I don't like many of the WMMA fights, because the skill is very poor. But I thought Rose and Joanna 2 was really impressive.
