that’s weird because their forum is inferior to Sherdog’s. Dana and Jeff Sherwood hate each other though so that’s probably why.

I don't know if the UG was objectively created before the Sherdog forums but it was definitely much more popular before the Sherdog forums were.

There is also historically more of "I trane IRL " energy from the UG

Way less fighter bashing compared to Sherdog. Posters are usually mild there compared to what we see here.

The concept of fighter bashing is a "red herring". In major MMA media they refuse to criticize fighters and have dishonest discussions where they control the narrative. Do sherdoggers go to far at times with what you call bashing? Yes, but I would argue that's better than the B.S. you are getting in the MMA media right now. An obvious example would be Donald Cerrone, when he fought Conor. Rogan and others were gushing over Conor and his showing. Steven A. got attacked as an outsider to MMA for his honest observations of what happened. Here on Sherdog myself and others talked about how Cowboy just showed up for a paycheck.
