Are the tides finally turning against Dana to the point where he is reviled and mocked by fans?

Dana White is a gloriously accomplished man.

Not necessarily a moral, ethical, likeable (to some) character -- but win or lose, Dana goes after a multitude of challenges and makes shit happen.

He'd be a Hall of Famer sherdogger (shit talker) IF he wasn't so effective at turning his words, ideas, vision into money.

He would be banned on Sherdog, I think Domestic abuse is against the ToS on here.

Dana is a Schaub, he got to where he is more from knowing the right people than anything else.

He'd still be owing the mob money with his boxercize career.

It is almost comical how he's developed this persona of a tough guy when his fight record is just a measily 1-0 fighting outside of his division (weight and gender)

Dana is actually supposed to act like this to draw attention away from Hunter Campbell. He basically is there to help out and run interference with the media.

A whole lotta coping going on...

As the saying goes--
"I've been thrown out of better bars"...<45>

Think it depends on age. As an adult I admire his business acumen and for putting on the fights I’ve enjoyed for the last twenty years. I used to hate him as Pride was the first mma production I watched. He’s ruthless and has his weakness but he’s not the devil he’s made out to be. I can’t stand powerslap but we’re living in idiocracy so I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes off.

Fake account of things sir

I think he's definitely messing up and he's probably going to lose his job soon.

Dana has recently
lost Ngannou
Gave Colby a titleshot that has the MMA world confused and annoyed.
Slapped his wife.
Slap fighting.
Trashed Jan and Ankalaev for a draw? The arguable 2 best LHW's in the world.
Shut down easy money Holland vs Masvidal beef.
Might give old man Stipe a undeserved title shot.

I feel like there's more but some of the shit he's doing has been pretty surprising for how negative it's been.

You must have the memory of a goldfish. Things that were supposed to "turn the tides against Dana" and lead to him losing his job:

Cutting Fitch and the rest of AKA
Fertittas selling UFC (remember all the "WME will never have someone this unprofessional running the UFC" talk? LMAO)
Feuding with champions (Woodley, Stiopic...take your pick)
Reebok deal and cutting Stitch Duran
Kicking Ariel out of UFC 199
Fighter Association with GSP, TJ, Cowboy, Cain, Tim Kennedy and Bjorn
Anytime a high profile fighter is let go - Rory Mac, Moose...take your pick
Signing Greg Hardy and putting him on the same card as a DV victim
Endorsing Trump
Letting Brock fight with PED exemption
Mighty Mouse expose
Hell bend on holding events during COVID

And what happened instead in reality? Dana re-signed 7 year deal with Endeavor, and the UFC tripled in evaluation from 2016 to 2023. Meanwhile BloodyElbow, the biggest anti-Dana, anti-UFC hater website just got shitcanned by VOX and has to rely on fan donations to survive. Dana is a wife cheating wife beating douche, but he's 100% correct when he talks about MMA journalists and forum dwellers: you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

It’s the success that’s most triggering for people. Nobody gets worked up about a run of the mill asshole. But Dana’s assholeness gives them a socially acceptable outlet for their resentment.

nobody gives a shit about Dana being a scumbag. that's par for the course when you're a fight promoter. Don King fucking killed a dude and nobody gave a shit about that. there's proof of the powerful elite of the WORLD meeting on an island to fuck kids and the vast majority of the world doesn't care. Dana White is like a choir boy compared to the animals that rule this world and people have been ok with them for decades. if they don't care about child molesting narcissistic psychopaths who rule the world through the lowest forms of treachery why would they give a fuck about Dana slapping his wife and stealing money from fighters?

Despite what I've seen people rant about here, I know that most of them would kiss his ass for an autograph and a handshake, if they ran into him. I'd bet most of the Jon Jones haters would shake his hand and take an autograph too.

Dana's history has always been riddled with bad ideas and mistakes but it's becoming a far more common thing. I just think his time as the face of the UFC is going to end soon and I think the mistakes are going to get even worse. Those things you listed have been over so many years but all the things I'm saying are recent and that builds up fast.

Where the fuck have you been? Uncle Fester used to be lampooned daily here. Fuck, I still remember when people used to call someone a "Zuffa shill" for sticking up for the bald goof. Then, after Conor's rise, and lots of secret juice for Uncle Fester, people started laying off of him. I blame the noobs, mostly.

Riddled with "bad ideas and mistakes" that helped catapult the UFC from a "completely overvalued" 4 billion in 2016 to 12.1 billion in 2023, post-pandemic when most people are struggling hard. Yeah right. You wish your life was riddled with the same "bad ideas and mistakes". Actual results of running a multi billion dollar company speak louder than the seething copium of a random forum dweller. But hey if thinking about Dana getting fucked helps you sleep at night, by all means knock yourself out.

There will always be a contingent of unthinking dipshits that will love anyone who's hated for beating their wife, but I do see less people mindlessly defending Dana and the UFC.

I read an interview a month ago in which Dana blamed people who hated him for Power Slap failing. It was all a plot by haters to create consequences for things like beating his wife, creating shitty products and making the UFC unattractive entertainment for people who genuinely want to watch a sport that rewards the best fighters.

All I said was Dana has been messing up recently.
His covid era and before that Dana was a fucking powerhouse making big money but if you can't see that he's clearly slipping up now and has been making some massive blunders more than he has in the past then there's not much else to say.
