Boxing is even worse. But the team sports, while the fans generally stick with them, they don’t do so happily. I know plenty of people who genuinely hate the teams they supposedly root for.

But many times it's not the same group of people. It's just that the haters will be much more vocal after a loss, so it looks like people are talking shit now, but you have to consider it's not exactly the same people.

Excellent distinction. I confess that I sometimes treat Sherdoggers as a single bloc.

True. I've also always felt like Philly fans hate the opposing team far more than they even like their own team. Just hostile all the way around.

Philly sports fans also threaten to fight sports reporters that call them the worst fan base. Which actually validates the report.

I do think thats worth considering, Sherdog likes to think of itself as an educated MMA forum but really this place is full of marks for UFC hype.

I don't think there any different than any other sport imo. And I'm sure there are a lot of people who are fans of MMA and also fans of other sports. So it's relative.

Lets be honest, no sports fans are worse than Soccer. It's not even close.

Many soccer fans are garbage. Hundreds of people die at soccer events because the fans are fucking psychos.
