Are Flyweights strong enough to even hurt each other?

It seems like they go back forth smacking each other around forever throwing the hardest hits they can and that still doesn't hurt. It looks like the ultimate game of touchbutt. Ido Portal should just coach this whole division as they seem the most agile and capable of pulling off his techniques.

Edit: Seems I have been shown wrong. I would like to retract my statement.

No. They could not hurt a fly. That's what they called the division flyweights. It's ironic.

Ido would ko you by touching your butt.

They are just faster and can dart in and out of trouble quicker than other divisions. Some FLW fights look like ping pong where they bounce off each other and fly around but some of the fights are extremely technical and display a high amount of skill.

I think once we get a few new interesting characters and styles at 125 it will be much more exciting. It is still in the beginning stages.

I don't know. I never watch them fight. I always turn it off or use it as an excuse to go to the fridge.

I'd put literally everything I own on a flyweight absolutely dedevastating the average 220lbs Sherdog tough guy in a martial arts bout.

yes but most of the time the fights end in decisions, after throwing 635578642196990 punches at eachothers faces but barely have a mark in their faces

Funny thing is most Sherdoggers would fight at 125 if they were in shape and competing. But they think because they they are some 5'7" 220lb lard ass they are somehow "alpha" because they are heavyweights technically.

It amazes me how proud some "mma fans" are of the fact that they don't like watching mma.

Really? I think you underestimate what being twice the weight of someone else means in a fight. When I spar with people just 10lbs lighter it's like they can barely hurt me.

Some are, Some aren't. Same as every division. Here's some of Horiguchi's work.
