People are so quick to start shitting on someone once they lose..overrated, hype train derailed and so forth..this fight was a low reward high risk for Conor..he could of pulled out of the card, but he risked losing his title shot against a very game and dangerous opponent.

I thought he looked good, I didn't think he was going to be so dominant striking with Diaz but that could of been due to Diaz's lack of preparation. His never weigh'd this much in a fight, not sure if it was the mass, Diaz landing some shots, the volume of power punches or neglecting cardio that caused him to crash in round 2. Obviously he showed a few holes in his grappling ability, but was that really a huge suprise ? I hardly think he was 'exposed'.

I still think sky is the limit for Conor, it's relatively early in his career and it's possible the guy may have success in three separate divisions at the highest level. People seem are quick to forget that he knocked out a p4p great in under 20 seconds...it's entirely possible he has already reached his ceiling, but I'd be saving the insults or throw away comments until he is retired and we actually know what he was capable of.

What does your title have to do with your post?

For the last time. No one is shitting on Conor just because he lost. They are doing it for basically the same reason as Ronda. Conor talked far too much shit and ended up losing to a guy that most of us thought he should be able to beat. Basically, Conor got what he deserved for being too arrogant.

Exactly this.

The difference being, Conor has demonstrated respect in winning and in defeat. Instantly, Conor made no excuses and accepted he got his ass kicked. Ronda however, disappears into obscurity and doesn't even mention a word.

He has taken the sport to a whole new level, his time is not done and if not for his trash talking and comical arrogance...we wouldn't have a guy who has the possibility of being the first to hit the 2 mil ppv rate.

I am, but I only like winners.

I'm not a very good fan.

Those stupid boxing fan boys thought any boxer like Holly Holm can easily dominate MMA. I like Holly but her ground game is equal to a white belt in BJJ. She has a long way to go.

He didn't look remotely dominant striking with Diaz. He was competitive, outstriking him in the first round slightly, then he got demolished.

Clearly won first round, diaz face was busted up. Diaz threw a couple of okay shots but they didn't look like they had much power behind them but again, all of this could be due to a lack of preparation for the bout.

Boxing fans have been waiting years to shit in Mayweathers wheaties, so no they aren't much different.
