Are Bisping's last 3 wins leading to his title better than Weidman's and Rockhold's?

Wiedman beat Lawlor, Maia and Munoz.

Rockhold beat Boetsch, Bisping and Machida.

Bisping beat Dolloway, Leites and Silva.

Rockholds on paper is the most impressive.
If you watch the fights Still Rockholds

Edited because of beefcake180 sound logical arguement.

Not even close but the man has paid his dues in the sport and is getting old so i'm happy they gave him a title shot. I've seen far worse decisions.

Bisping, a win over Silva still counts for something.

Based on this criteria... even the old, depleted Silva trumps all the names... only Machida comes anywhere close...

Nah. The way Rockhold just dispatched them was more impressive.

Weidmans hands down.

Que?

The Maia fight is one of the worst fights ever. Luke blowing out boetsch Bisping and machida in succession was much more impressive on paper and in practice.

I think it's Luke but I wouldn't argue if you said Bisping.

Actually you are right
I just remember getting a murder boner during the Munoz fight..... Those elbows.

I don't know how he won against Silva when he looked spent and disfigured at the end of the fight? He did beat Luke, but that's because Luke didn't respect his hands. I can't wait for his next fight, I wish him well, but doubt he can hang with the elite again!

I think Weidman's wins weren't as great as Rockhold's nor Bisping's, to no fault of his own.

Luke demolished his opponents but, at the time, Boetsch and Bisping were considered nothing but over the hill gatekeepers. Machida was a legit win though.

Bisping beat a former champion in Anderson Silva and Thales Leites, a former title challenger making a career resurgence with a 5 fight win streak.

i think weidman had the easiest path out of them.

I'll take Rockhold and Weidman's finishes over Bisping's decisions, especially considering how bad that Leites one was.

On paper, I would argue Weidman.

PeePeehold is the most impressive - the manner he secured his wins can't be overlooked

Still think both Cockhold and Weirdman are definitively better fighters than BIZBING

I dunno....subbing Bisping and Machida was pretty impressive to me

It was a close fight. You can't say there is no way Bisping won.

Bisping outstruck and knocked down or staggered Silva in both rounds 1 and 2.

Bisping continued to outstrike Silva in round 3 but lost it in the final seconds by getting knocked down himself.

Bisping outstrikes Silva again in round 4. People say he took the round off or wasn't fighting seriously but I believe he fought that way because he couldn't find an opening to attack or counter Bisping.

Silva takes round 5.

3 rounds to 2, Bisping wins.
