I mean, you can't spell his name properly, but I think Jake might knock him out personally.

This is MMA related so leave it in the heavies. I really hope Askrin doesn't embarrass MMA but I'm 99% sure he will destroy Paul, and I only leave the extra 1% for the "anything can happen" variable.

Same. Askren better be clinching on a regular basis. I think he can only win if Jake gasses out. Even then it's a stretch

never understand why we don’t care about DC crying. Jake still wins. Bens standup has never been passable and last time he played the disregarding opponent card he got smoked cuz he convinced himself he was safe when he wasn’t.

I don't understand how anyone with a brain or training/fighting experience can believe that Jake will win.
 
I can see the boxing match going a bunch of different ways.
 
Like Ben said, he'd kill him in an actual fight.

But boxing is a sport.

That's why it's interesting.
 
No matter how hyped the MMA community gets over a missed face much at a press conference, nothin has changed. Askren gets boxed up because he can't box.

Yes people want this to be the outcome. But Triller isn't headlining their event with one of their biggest stars to lose. Ben is there to give credibility to Jake Paul. People don't understand this event is to showcase boxing > mma. It's a boxing promotion and they picked 2 former world champions in mma that are grappling based. This is like UFC picking Randy Couture vs James Toney in UFC. A striker vs a grappler in mma, isn't the same as having a striker vs a grappler in boxing. This is what mma fans need to understand about this match up. Askren is the amateur in boxing even with his olympic wrestling and mma world champion credentials. It's not going to mean much if he is forced to only strike.

It's still a fight. I've had a boxing match, a kickboxing match., two mma fights, and a ton of grappling. In my own experience, the techniques are different but the mentality is the same. Ben's mental is that of a seasoned championship fighter elite mf'r. Jakes is that of a young youtuber with access to the best coaches and maybe two years of training. Fought two bums and thinks he can compete with elite fighters.

Jake is dedicated to boxing, though.

I give the young man credit for creating his business model.

I legitimately think he's a better boxer than Ben.
 
Still have no clue who this Jake fella is? And I refuse to look him up..
