apparently alistair overeem injured jones in training

Jones was limping a week ago during media event or interview, I can't remember which. This injury isn't new. I hate to be all conspiracy theorist, but they definitely sold as many tickets as they could before they announced it.

Alistair Overeem is this one's hero! Go alistair!

Horsemeat Reem can beat anyone. including Cain.

That's actually interesting

Nah, Cain ruined him after those beatings. He will not be the same monster he was, mark my words.

If Overeem is still fine after a 127 knockout losses I'm sure Junior will be alright.

Those octagon girl reactions :) "Wow...... *clapclapclap* ..... Woww..."

And I'm sure if it was AO, he didn't do it on purpose and this is pointless. If you want to get in top shape, if you want to be as ready as you can - then you train your ass off. Injuries happen.

What's the point of that? They have to refund the money no?

Look at it statistically. If 30% (pulled the number out of my ass) of the people can't get a refund (or just don't want to go through the hassle) on an expense (be it airline, hotel, already taken the vacation days from work et cetera) and just say fuck it I'll go anyway, how much more revenue will it bring in?

I keep reading this on the forums and on twitter. I wonder if the injury was minor until Monday when it got worse. That might all explain the head clash.

Umm, that does sound all conspiracy theorist. The UFC are offering refunds to the event.

The card is still pretty stacked. People were going to show up anyway. I don't think filling 70% of the seats would have been an issue, even without Jones v. DC.

Ha! So he got into a fight to pull out. Dana probably knows what was on JJ's mind thats why he wasnt so pissed at what happened.

Ahh good ole bait and switch. I forgot about that. :icon_evil

Maybe. All I know was the dude was definitely limping. He even addresses it "it's going to be no problem", to paraphrase.
