who preferred keyword aol apps to the Internet? I did and the Internet for me was usually aol keyword and aol chat and irc. It was a while till I really started using explorer

Once I used an area code that was my own area for but still considered long distance. So the phone bill was like 4K and my mom got all Hispanic on them. It was dropped to normal fee

I worked at a call center in high school when dial up started becoming available to everyone. I remember setting up one customers internet service where he was going to have to pay 22 cents a minutes long distance charges and he didn't care. And that was for 28.8k.
Buddy ended up getting his connection rerouted to a Russia line while looking at porn and ended up paying international charges that were outrageous.
