I have a really bad case of shin splints. Anyone know anything i can take to help me out?
I have found the only thing that works for me is rest. An anti-inflammatory would help at the moment, but not for the long term. You could also try strengthening the tibialis longus, which is the muscle on the front side of the shin. Any movement that brings your toes upward should do this.
Also pick up a running magazine, they have thousands of devices for that, no idea if any work.
rest..dont run for a while..2 days or so
Read this too.
thanks alot guys
