Anyone use STAP-A-SEPTIC to prevent MRSA?

Saw this in the drug store today. It's called staphaseptic (website is MRSA, Prevent MRSA Staph Infection with StaphAseptic

I use this on any weird zit-like thing that pops up on my skin. So far no staph

cool, thanks! I got a small cut on my knee last night early on and got really paranoid getting something in the cut. It would have been nice to have this stuff and a bigger band aid. That's something else I got......BIG band aides. The little ones don't cut it as they don't stick well to skin that is actively sweating (even when you wipe the sweat off).

So I got some alcohol wipes, big band aides, and this cream. We'll see. I'm surprised they would make a claim like "prevents MRSA".....those are some pretty bold words!

lots of stuff will kill MRSA when it's on the outside of your body. likewise, there are many ways to prevent MRSA/staph, such as showering, etc.

the problem comes when the bugs get inside. then you're fucked. as someone who almost lost a leg to MRSA and spent several weeks in the hospital, i'm pretty gungho about prevention. don't wanna go there again...
