Anyone use EPSXE emulator?

Downloaded it a week or so go and I got Suikoden 1 and 2. I'm using a PS2 controller with a USB adapter, but it's not working correctly. Can't move left or right in the menu.

What's a good controller to use? I also tried using a PS4 controller, but it wouldn't recognize it with DS4Windows.

im using a "ZD T Gaming wired Gamepad Controller Joystick For PC" i got on amazon and am using it on my nvidia shield in epsxe. it works great for me and i've had no problems with it so far, it works well with my shield controller as either a first or second controller.

I've always preferred pSX over that espxe junk. It worked with my PS4 controller too, no problems.

If you really want to use espxe, you could try something like xpadder.

I just use an 360 controller. Works well for pretty much anything.
