whether or not you thought jaracre won...I thought jaracre would get it for sure just because its in brazil.

im glad that didn't happen though.

Jaracre Jaracre Jaracre Jaracre Jaracre

It should have ended in a draw or a victory for Jacare. Gastelum just didn't do enough to take the victory imho

Who the fook is Jacare? TS is clearly talking about Jaracre here...

When the 29-28 score for Jacare by the one judge was announced, I thought for sure they were going to give it to him.

I thought Kelvin probably took it though. But a draw wouldn't have surprised me.

I thought Kelvin won a close fight. I was sure that the judges would give it to jacare. Good for the judges, the right call was made

Close fight on the metrics and effective striking, but Ronaldo Souza looked terrible after round one.

Never underestimate optics.

Yeah because the USA has less bias in decision making in sports. In fact, it has elevated itself to a level of humility and neutrality never quite seen before in sports.

I stopped believing in Brazil decisions when The Dragon got robbed against Phil Davis

The home court gave him a 29-28 when he certainly lost rounds 2-3

So, Sal D'Amato is brazilian now?

Bunch of salty retards..

Sort of, but Kelvin clearly won the fight.

Home decisions are usually given by local or locally compromised judges, 2/3 were not Brazilian so they would not really have any reason to favour one fighter over the other

Judges:
Sal D'Amato (scored Jacare)
Guilherme Bravo (scored Gastellum)
Chris Lee (scored Gastellum)
Referee:
Leon Roberts

So of all judges plus the referee the only one who might actually be brazilian gave the fight to Gastellum, while Sal D'Amato who is guaranteed not brazilian gave it to Jacare "just because he hit Gastellum a lot harder in the third than the other way around".

What are the odds of the judges being compromised and what are the odds of we having a bunch of spoiled brats that have no respect for other people's work?
