I think I might have done this. I was using light weight but maybe it was b/c I was doing it kind of mindlessly.

i see bros in the gym doing this with a weight "mindlessly" all the time. I have always thought eventually someone will blow the ol' cuff. Doing that while rotating your body to check out the chicks is not a great idea.

I didn't blow the ol' cuff off. The ol' cuff is just a little bit sore.

What exercise were you doing, with what equipment, and where does it hurt?

Yeah hurting the shoulder sucks. I did it once, like 2 weeks ago while trying different grips for my heavy ohp.

Pissed me off, for like 2 days my shoulder was bumming me out.

I hurt mine monthes ago, and I think I did it with the exact rotator cuff warm up someone posted above with bands...

Not 100% sure though as I was benching a good deal and also doing snatch, but if I had to bet I'd say I did with that external rotators exercize... :(

Wait till you're my age and you blow a disk bending over to tie your shoe or sleeping on your head wrong.

No. I take care of my shoulders because my right one gave me issues in the past. They've been healthy for years now, and I benched 3x/week for over a year.

Cool story, though, Opie. Maybe concentrate harder so you don't injure yourself.

I don't really know if that is how I injured my shoulder, but doing those warm-ups are the only things that changed. Maybe I bounced a little bit too much or stretched a little bit too far.

I really just had a sore infraspinatus for a week. I think I took one of the stretches way too far and got myself in a really hard americana
