Anyone know why Cormier made less for UFC 220?

At UFC 220 his reported pay was 500,000

Why did he take a 1/2 million pay cut?

Cormier was taking a much larger risk fighting Jones and was probably able to use that negotiating his pay for 214.

A UFC Champion makes $500k and since there was 2 UFC champs thats $500k x 2. MMAth is not that hard. Conor is the 155 lb champ and Nate Diaz is 3 x his size therefore Nate is 465 lbs

His deal can even be 500k but more ppv revenue which is better than a million with less ppv revenue.
