Anyone know how Khabib is so strong?

Core strength from wrestling since he was in kindergarden in a badass no-pussies-(or pussy)-allowed environment.
this. similar to fedor or hughes. add in training style, probably doesnt lift for strength

Just made that same comparison

Great minds think alike ;) ;) . Yeah Khabib certainly has that farm strength look to him, I seen many over the years in wrestling and they all look very similar to Khabib. They are crazy strong.

The pics TS listed like Abel Trujillo, he has beach muscles, I reckon he ain't that strong, he is probably quite fast, but I doubt he has much strength, not compared to the farmers.

Cole Konrad was like that too, probably the strongest guy ever in MMA, its a shame that he retired and didn't want to do MMA anymore, he would have been undefeated for a long time. He was crazy strong farmer.

Body builder body does not equate to overall strength .I started training at 15 Running track and field events, weightlifting at the same time for powerlifting . all kinds of guys were more muscular but honestly felt like girls comparing to my strength . At the end of the day it was Genetics . at 19 I had a 480 pd deadlift to my walkaround weight of 141 . Genetics Even arm wrestled our top bodybuilder at 155 and beat him easy
A kool 49 years ago before Steroids were the thing for fake strength

He's got that Russian Dadbod strength like Fedor

<Fedor23>

He spends much more time on the wrestling mat than in the gym, lifting weights, doing bench presses and dumbbell curls. Khabib looks like a fighter. Tibau looks like a mini bodybuilder.

Bodybuilding < Functional Strength Training. A big strong farm boy from Nebraska will out lift a bodybuilder any day. Just look at offensive linemen.
Also, born and bred in the mountains at that elevation helps a lot.

Some people like muscle toning for form and physique...it doesn't mean you will be tossing bodies with that though...that's why bodybuilders don't succeed in MMA...

He follows my 30day get shredded abs 4 life program, special offer for forum members $5,000 for my e-book. guaranteed shredded as fuck abs in 30 days or half your money back.

Weight lifters can lift much more than body builders but they don't look like bodybuilders.
What you think a strong man looks like isn't what a strong man looks like.
Watch strongman competitions for other examples.
Good point, Žydrūnas Savickas just looks like a fat man but could tear my head off of my torso.

Functional strength vs physique building. Genetics play a factor as well. Wrestling makes men strong also.

A lot of really strong guys don't necessarily have a lot of muscle definition. I'm sure Khabib is naturally strong as hell, but there's also a difference between gym strength and functional strength. He may or may not be a beast on the weights in the gym, but he undoubtedly has freakish grappling strength. It's probably a combination of having a really strong core, really good balance, and excellent grappling technique. When you combine all of those things, then yeah, I'm sure it probably does feel like you're grappling with someone who is significantly bigger than you.

I wrestled around with a particular guy my freshman year of college once. Once. I probably outweighed him by 40 pounds. He absolutely ragdolled my ass. It felt like he had 100 pounds on me. Turned out he was a state champion wrestler in high school and was just over it and didn't want to continue at the college level.
This. I used to wrestle in high school and practice with a 160 pound dude. He felt like a light heavy. Freakish strength.

As I pretty much said the other day about Khabib's physique and strength, you don't need to look like a bodybuilder to be really fucking strong. Have you never seen Olympic weightlifters before? Some of them are not that muscular, but still throw around shitloads of weight. Strength is more than muscle size and vascularity.
