Anyone know anything about Leone gloves?

I have to disagree. To be honest, its DIFFICULT to shop for any gear these days with the intent of NOT looking like a poser. Its not like back in the day where you could get a simple logo. Now gear is as much of an expression of personality as a tattoo.

Personally I dont think you would look like a poser if you came to the gym with those on. They are tasteful, and SEEM like a quality glove, I just wouldn't do it because I do not know LEONE at all as far as quality. Just my $0.02

I don't think I would be considered a poseur for wearing Glory gloves at my gym. Hell a majority of the people there don't even know what the hell Glory is. They are UFC fans. It sucks:(

I have tk k1 gloves, nobody knows what they are here...not that I use them very often.

Yeah Glory is going to go on a rise in the US. I like the UFC, but Glory will have more appeal. Its just a matter of time before Reem and the other notable Kickboxers in MMA promotions jump over to it.

Man I hope so......I've been done with UFC for quite some time now. I love how Spike picked it up and it seems like we are getting an event once a month.

I'm looking forward to see if raymond Daniels bounces back from his first loss, isn't he on this weekend's card?

LOL @ the sudden upswing of "poser" references.

Anyone that's suffered broken bones during a fight isn't a poser imo, even if they have never owned a fancy expensive pair of gloves. My $0.02.

Technically only one person mentioned poser. I was stating its hard not to look like one these days. If I spent the money I'll wear what I want. Good products are good products.

If people want to dress head to toe in flame clad decals and look like a Harley Davidson, that's all on you.

I judge by performance not looks. That's the QUICKEST way to get.put on your ass.

Having said that time will tell if I grab a pair of the Glory gloves.

So, I know this thread is old, but just wanted to say I had the same questions as the poster and from my experience, Leone has its ups and downs, but the leather gloves are up there with Cleto Reyes, etc. The reason the prices were artificially high here in the U.S. is because sites like Titleboxing could care less about importing and selling the actual good quality Leone products at a decent price-they have their own brand. So I sought becoming a U.S. distributor, and after a couple years of trying, I finally got the deal. I only get products I myself would use, and ones rarely found in the U.S. (probably because they're tough to import from Italy) like heavy bags, etc.

My showroom is based out of my gym in Brooklyn, but if anyone is looking for pretty good Leone products at a less insane mark-up, here is the ebay online store I just started.

<div class="ebay-coll" data-cw-width="500" data-cw-collection="http://www.ebay.com/cln/sal_mammana/leone-1947-collection/391956394017" data-cw-locale="en-US"></div><script src="https://ir.ebaystatic.com/rs/c/v1.0/08172015/ebay-coll-embed.js"></script>

Not trying to solicit too much but figure this was the right place if anyone was interested, as I've been in the past. I'm continually updating my Leone product line, but if there's any specific item you'd want to order, I do take special orders. Thanks.
