I want to buy a 2000 Subaru legacy B4 RSK with about 122,000 km on it. I want to use it kinda as a project car but I'm kinda clueless on Japanese cars. The last 3 cars i've owned were Cadillacs and want something a little more agile and lighter. Any tips on owning these cars or general info? I would really appreciate it. Also how is reliability and cost of owning one of these cars? Here is a ad of the exact car I have my eye on.

Looks in very good shape and is manual which I miss a bunch. Want something that can take corners very well and at that price point I'm 90% i'm going to buy it. Just need some advise :)

Japanese ears? They've been known to fall off in the cage.

Rice Rockets were probably raced. I'd avoid.

Why would you say they were probably raced? I think they just import them from Japan and sell them here. Also, it's completely stock. It's not a ricer neither lol.

All Japanese cars are rice rockets! o_O

haha, sorry I don't know anything about the car. haha

Maybe dont try and project a car you admittedly know nothing about. I bought a car that they quoted me 2500 just to change the rear rotors (cause they are with the differential inside the suspension)

Find a forum for the car you want and start reading the threads. You can read for days about the exact model's eccentricities
