So I haven't watched wrestling for a while now but a few years ago I started watching again after like 15 years of not giving a shit. I can't remember why exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was because I had seen a TNA advertisement on Spike and one night on a whim just decided to check it out.

That kicked off about a year of weekly viewing, but I was almost entirely dedicated to TNA. Every once in a while I might check out what was going on in the WWE but that was rare and I never really considered myself a "fan" of the WWE in any sense.

My interest started to wane when TNA started wandering away from the Impact Zone and started broadcasting their shows from the road. It just didn't look or feel right to me at that point. But I've been considering tuning in again and seeing what's going on.

So anyone else here like TNA but not give a shit about the WWE?

I watch some of the WWE PPVs but thats about it
Raw has way too much bullshit to make me sit there for 3 hours just to see 5 minutes of New Day and my favorite Divas
I like what Ive seen of NXT but never watch it anymore
Watch all the other groups I can get my eyes on doe
Lucha Underground, ROH, TNA, PPW, CMLL

I mainly watch ROH and will watch the tail end of Impact on occasion. I don't really watch RAW, but my dad and brother are WWE only fans and love RAW.

So after making this thread, I decided to watch an episode of TNA last night. First one I've watched in probably two years. I enjoyed it and was really glad to see them back in the Impact Zone, but I was super disappointed to see that they've brought back the six-sided ring. Not only does it just not look right, but I've heard it's also a lot more dangerous for the wrestlers because of the way it's constructed.

It seems like as soon as TNA does something right, they go and fuck something else up.

The 6 sided ring is more stiff. It's not more dangerous but the bumps are felt a little more.

I caught a tna match and wondered what was up with the ring.

I just remember one wrestler complaining about his "safety" when the ring was brought back. In any case, it's pretty clear that the talent doesn't want it and I think it totally doesn't look or feel right.

I know TNA did a vote and fans voted for the six-sided ring by a wide margin. But I don't understand why. WHY?!

I probably watched TNA more than WWE back when Bischoff & Hogan started "running" things

The first time I tuned into TNA those two were already in charge. I know a lot of fans think they pretty much just fucked everything up, though.

I wouldn't say they did great by any stretch, but it's the only time TNA ever interested me...no one will ever succeed with the albatross that is Dixie Carter involved

Because it's unique. Before TNA went full retard, they utilized it very well, and it helped them form their own identity and stick out from the pack. Just another thing Hogan and Bischoff fucked up.

If you want to see how good TNA was at one time, check out their early stuff. They were doing great things when they had Joe, Styles, and Daniels at the top.
