Anyone here from the old days!

Nah man im tellin ya,it wasnt always here. I cant remember the year but it was probably after 2010 when likes started. Some mod can tell us,im sure.

I'm pretty sure that likes kicked in like, in 2016 or even later.. My memory is pretty terrible though.

20 years. Account will officially be 20 next year.

Fine thanks, hope you’re well too. I think I class as an OG too, 05 account.

Signed up during the Fedor Affliction days and was horribly disappointed that he wasn’t able to fight Barnett, but it’s all good. Maybe 09’ isn’t old enough for this thread, but I’ve been around for a little while I guess.

Yes I remember watching the UFC when it was still in black and white.

I’m 42. Used to rent the OG UFC’s when I was a kid (maybe 15 years old) from the local video store. They’d come out a month or so after the event and they typically didn’t get every event. Now there’s, nearly, unlimited streaming archived fights and multiple cards per week. It’s really a great time to be a fight fan.

I'm not one of the original posters, my original account was from 2008/09 though. I got banned for making a perverted comment about one of the WMMA warm up videos.

Things were a lot tighter back then haha.

It started around 2015-2016 when they changed the forum format and everyone was bitching for a while. More recent than you think

And to answer the thread, I made my first account in 2008 and mostly just lurked. I ended up doing most of my forum chatting on MMATKO (RIP). Forgot my password here and made a new account in 2010 until I got teh ban.

And here I am with my Fox newb join date

it’s funny how much we went out of our way to rent VHS tapes from blockbuster or Hollywood video… all so we could watch complete cans for the most part.

I remember when the only way to find out results from fights was by carrier pigeon. Back in those Pankration days.
